Famous Dave's

Research your favorite restaurant's nutrition information (label reading) for your favorite meal--this includes appetizer, salad, bread, drink, dressings, sauces etc in addition to the main entree. Take special attention to the calorie, carbohydrate, fat, and sodium content. Is this a good choice? What are some other options that may be healthier? How likely are you to make this change? You should be able to find most major restaurant chain's nutrition information on their website. Discuss these findings with your classmates and be sure to include your references

I like Famous Dave's for my birthday meal which is in two weeks on the 20th.

I usually get Dave's famous burger which has 1100 calories, 58g of carbs, 72 grams of fat, and 2.3 grams of sodium. I get it with a glass of water and Dave's famous fries, which have 370 calories, 16 grams of fat, 52 grams of carbs, and .6 grams of sodium. While it is not the healthiest meal, it is usually a once or twice per year thing. However, if I had to order healthier I would get Iris's Comeback Chicken Sandwich at 620 calories, 33 grams of fat, 51 carbs and 1.3 grams of sodium with a Garden side salad at 100 calories, 6 grams of fat, 10g of carbs and.2 gram of sodium. I am willing to try new foods so this might be what I order for my birthday meal. I love salad so it would not be hard to sub the fries out.
